ARTEFAKT UNIFORM. is based on textiles, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
the clothes i make are designed and sewn in trondheim, norway.

each garment is the result of a process where i combine carefully selected materials with a unique vision for form and function.

the goal is to focus on every detail of the garment, creating something personal and meaningful. by crafting each garment by hand, i aim to give each piece a special value and invite the wearer to experience the clothing in an active and conscious way.

"artefakt" comes from the latin [artefactum], which refers to something made with skill or craftsmanship, often linked to objects of historical or cultural significance created by human hands. this suggests that each piece in my collection is a crafted, meaningful object, much like a historical artifact.

"uniform," on the other hand, traditionally denotes something consistent, standardized, or cohesive, often used in workwear or attire. however, in this context, it can also represent the harmony and functionality within my designs, reflecting a cohesive aesthetic or style while maintaining uniqueness.

together, the name "ARTEFAKT UNIFORM." symbolizes a balance between individuality of handcrafted artifacts and a consistent style or purpose, encapsulating the brand’s identity of merging art and practical fashion.

the process behind every piece is a blend of creativity, experimentation and precision, resulting in one-of-a-kind garments. no two items are the same, as i embrace patterns and shapes, letting the fabric guide me to create pieces that are both artistic and wearable.
